Hello! My name is Ellen Lerner and I've been a Singer-Songwriter most of my life. I write about all different things, but music is, by far my most favorite topic to write about. I write about my own personal experience as a professional musician as well as album reviews, and my favorite songwriters and bands. I grew up in the 80s, but I am most influenced and inspired by musicians and bands from way before my time! Joni Mitchell is probably my biggest influence as a songwriter, though Leonard Cohen, Dylan, Carole King, early Elton John and Billy Joel and of course The Beatles are huge influences as well...the list goes on.
