How Can I Pay it Back and Offer Support to Others Recovering from Narcissistic Abuse?

Listen. That's the most important. Without judgment.

Give someone who needs you your undivided attention.

Turn off the tv.

Put down your phone.

Be patient. Everyone recovers in their own time.

Give kind and honest advice.

Hold their hand. Look at them. Make it the most important thing you do that day, especially in that moment.

Don't give up on them, even when they want to give up on themselves.

Give them examples of real life success stories.

Prove to them that a better life is possible and it's on the way.

Never let them give up on themselves.

Remind them of who they are, what they love, and that they are not alone.

Be the very definition of a friend. Even if they are essentially a stranger.

Tell them it's never too late because it never truly is.

You might just change someone’s life. You could do even more than that….You could save it.
