This is what a narcissist thrives on! This is exactly the point right before all hell breaks loose!

You start to question everything. You start to doubt everything you ever believed in.

It can start with something very basic. You misplace your keys. Even though you put them in the exact same spot every day they are suddenly missing! You ask if they have seen them? They tell you they haven’t and then make you feel bad and even crazy.

You know what’s crazy? When you find your keys in their pants pocket the next day. But they deny it. The deny it so well that you actually start to wonder if you actually ARE crazy? This is their plan. All along. And once you are in this terrible place it can go one of two ways….you somehow feel this in the depths of your soul and find the strength to leave even though you have many questions…something is telling you these questions aren’t worth finding the answers to and you escape.

Unfortunately, it usually doesn’t end so well….after this point, they have you right where they want you. You do not even recognize yourself after a while.

As crazy as they are saying that you are, you actually start to behave like you are crazy because that is exactly what they made you! Not just in the eyes of everyone else…in your own eyes.

It takes a very strong person to come back from this. Strength beyond words. But if you can and find a happy ending even in the middle of this madness you can overcome anything. I did. So can you.
