Question: I put 20 years into my marriage and I got nothing for It. I lost everything. All I was left with were my clothes. The New Supply got everything I invested my entire life in. She gets the version of him I begged for. How is this fair?

Answer: I am very sorry for what you lost…I too lost many things. I lost years. I lost time. I wasted time agonizing over what he attempted to get me to believe…all lies. However…I got away..and found myself again in the process. I walked away and never looked back. I’m still here. So are you. That is what is of the utmost importance…but there’s something else that’s really important too….

She gets the version of him I begged for

Did you notice you used the word “version?” By definition…version means…

“A particular form of something differing in certain respects from an earlier form or other forms of the same type of thing.”

The same type of thing

He will betray and attempt to destroy the new supply. He will do the same thing to her that he did to you. And should another unsuspecting person come along after her, that person will also experience his insidious ways. And so on….

This new supply did not “hit the jackpot.” She may believe she did at this moment…however, we had our moments too. Until we knew what they actually were... Who they actually were…She just doesn’t know yet.

You won. You got the ultimate prize. He is not a prize. This is a curse. Your freedom is a blessing. Second chances are rare. Rejoice. You are free.
