Is it Irrational Not Wanting to Watch the Shows you Used to Watch With Your Narcissistic Wife? I Can’t Bring Myself to Continue the Walking Dead as We Used to Binge Watch It.

I can completely understand why so many people feel this way.

I have spoken to so many victims who also can not go to some of their favorite restaurants because it reminds them of their past partners with NPD.

I consider myself extremely fortunate that I do not feel this way. I never did.

I am not sure if it was a conscious decision on my part, or if I simply refused to give him that kind of power or importance…but I still watch shows we watched together and I still go to certain restaurants that I love and usually, he doesn’t even cross my mind.

I suppose what you give power to has power over you…

Or like I said…miraculously, this did not happen to me for whatever reason, but yes, I completely understand why one would feel this way…
