Is Love at First Sight Just Infatuation?

I know it would be for me, because all of my best relationships started out as good friendships…and I never looked at them ‘that’ way…until one day, I did.

That being said, I still believe it can happen…for some…

A friend of mine told me a story that forever changed my mind about love at first sight.

She had a dream. She saw his face, heard his voice and it was very clear this was the person she was supposed to spend the rest of her life with…but it was just a dream…

She woke up the next morning and basically shrugged it off and went to work.

She left work a little early because that night was a friend’s 30th birthday party…

At the party…literally ‘across a crowded room…’ she saw the exact same man she had the dream of just one night before.

He actually came over to her first. And that was it.

They have been very happily married for quite a long time….

This is not the first story I have heard about love at first sight.

It has never happened to me, and I don’t think it will…but that’s not to say it isn’t possible. After that story, who could say what is and is not possible…
