That was excellent, and I wholeheartedly agree...this needs a much wider platform. I believe it not only needs to be part of the curriculum..just like biology, art and history, but it needs to be a law. With severe consequences. The trick is, who is giving out the best, most helpful information. Is it for personal gain, recognition, or for truly selfless reasons...to do the very thing you said...make sure this never happens to another human being. You have to be extremely careful who you are getting your information and advice from. Vadkin has his merits but again, be careful. I'm not sure how I feel about gaining insight into something that is in a word...insidious. Equivalent to a holocaust. Though who better to get information from than a person who knows because that's who he is. I suppose I struggle with being able to separate myself from gaining knowledge from someone who may not have the kindest heart. But knowledge is knowledge...and knowledge is power...and we need powerful voices, intelligent minds and beautiful hearts all wrapped up into one. How on earth do we find it? xo
