What Does Narcissistic Blame Shifting Accomplish For Narcissists?

Mainly so they do not have to take accountability for anything.

They do something wrong…say something wrong…you challenge them on it, and instead of a pwNPD saying ‘I'm sorry, that was wrong, I shouldn't have said that..’ they turn it around on you!

This way the mask of perfection is always in place, and all the while you are left holding the bag.

When they leave you with confusion and doubt, that’s just a bonus for them. Not taking accountability is just one aspect of blame shifting…making you confused and doubtful of your own thoughts and views is a double whammy for them…

They love every minute of it, and you are left puzzled, confused, and wondering what exactly you did wrong….when all the while you were simply being blamed for another’s hypocrisy and mind fu*kery.
