When We Finally See the Narcissist for who they Really are, This is what they will ultimately miss about us…

If you have ever been in a relationship with a pwNPD, you know you served a purpose.

You may have been their benefactor. You may have made the road a whole lot easier for them for a little while.

I'm sure they miss that.

You may have made them look good. If you are a good person with good energy and especially if you are physically attractive they liked the way you looked and more important, they liked the way you made them look.

I’m sure they miss that too.

You may have truly cared and in their darkest moments tried to build them up. Stroked their egos. Told them they were wonderful. This is something they do not feel inside about themselves but for a moment…liked the feeling of the possibility of greatness.

They most definitely miss that one.

If you had a certain status in your career or in the community they attributed your achievements to their empty lives and they more than likely miss that as well.

They more than likely miss anything they got from you.

However, the way an emotionally intelligent and stable human being misses a person, who mourns the loss of them solely based upon the kind of person they were and what was in their hearts will never be missed because it was never recognized in the first place.

They saw something very special in you…

Your spirit.

Your light.

The very things they tried like hell to destroy, to claim as their own, and ultimately, take away... but they could never understand the true meaning of love therefore never know what it is to miss a person because you feel empty now that they are gone.

You will always be replaced.

Your good deeds forgotten.

Your good intentions will be retold to others as lies and you will be remembered in a distorted way…

…because this person has a disorder.

There is no logic, remorse and most especially love inside of an empty vessel.

There never will be and you need to find some way to make peace with something so unimaginable.

The sooner you do, the sooner you can get on with your life, make peace with your past, know what red flags to look for, and never repeat this pattern with another person like this ever again.

The devil does not come to us dressed in red with horns on their head…the devil comes to us disguised as everything we have ever wanted. We need to find a way to live among them or figure out a way to end this darkness once and for all.
